VVTBD

VisionX V4
NAME

vvtbd − performs vertebral body segmentation.

SYNOPSIS

vvtbd if= vf= dz= cf= rf= vy= vz= of= bf= ff= [-v] [-d]

DESCRIPTION

vvtbd performs vertebral body segmentation by separating the vertebral body from the posterior processes, given the segmented individual vertebra, based on the analysis of the image intensity profile.

OPTIONS

if=

input filtered CT image (short)

vf=

input mask for the target vertebra v

dz=z1,z2

input z coordinates of superior and inferior dividing planes for the target vertebra v

cf=

input spinal canal centerline

rf=

input z coordinate of carina

vy=

input vector of y component of the normal direction of SCC

vz=

input vector of z component of the normal direction of SCC

of=

output dividing planes (125,250) and vertebra (250,255) for visualization. There are 4 types of dividing planes (superior, inferior, anterior and posterior). The pixel value for dividing plane only is 125, for vertebra only is 255, for both dividing plane and vertebra is 250.

bf=

output vertebral body mask

ff=

output filtered CT for the vertebral body (short)

-v

verbose mode

-d

debug mode
