vsthick − Change the slice thickness (interval) of a CT image

vsthick [if=infile] [of=ofile] [th=<new-slice-thickness>] [-v]

vsthick changes the slice thickness of a CT image be resampleing in the z direction. The new slice thickness must be larger than the original image slice thickness. The new image is created by weighted averaging of the original image slices. resolution and pixel scale values.

if=<fname>

specifies the input image file name.

of=<fname>

This specifies the output file name

th=<value>

specifies the new slice thickness in mm (default: 5mm)
