vskinb − locate the skin and reconstruction boundary of a CT image

SYNOPSIS

interpolation if=<infile> ig=<> of=<ofile>

DESCRIPTION

vskinb finds the skin and the reconstruction boundary of a CT image. The reconstruction boundary is the portion of the image where the body touches the edges of the reconstruction. The output is a labeled with skin as 255 and the boundary as 155. The inputs are the original CT image and a labeled image with the air labeled as 100 the "no data" portion labeled as 0 and the soft tissue and bone portions labeled as 200.
