NAME

vpsgen - generate suspicious pleural surface voxels from a whole lung CT scan.

SYNOPSIS

vpsgen [if=] [ig=] [of=] [-d] [-v] [-w]

DESCRIPTION

vpscgen program generates suspicious pleural surface voxels from whole lung CT scan.

The suspicious pleural surface voxels are used as initial attached nodule candidates. The lung mask before and after the last stage of the lung mask generation in "vslung" are needed to generate suspicious pleural surface voxels. If [ig=] argument is not specified, the lung mask after morphological closing operation will be generated in the program.

Suspicious voxels are generated by comparing the pleural surface before and after morphological closing operation.
