NAME

vhfat − segments the pericardial fat region.

SYNOPSIS

vffat if=<map> ig=<map2> xyres=<> base=<hrtbase> of=<outmap>

DESCRIPTION

vhfat

constrains the location of pericardial fat. Top is at the same level with the heart top. Base is at the estimated diaphragm location (base=). Posterior is the anterior of descending aorta (posterior of heart). Anterior does not exceed the estimated sternum. For anterior region, the shortest horizontal line is used to connect the two lungs. Then this line is projected into the anterior region until it reaches the sternum. For fat pixels between sternum and the horizontal line, only those inside the projection region are considered as pericardial fat.
