NAME

vgrowth − a graphical interface to vgan

SYNOPSIS

vgrowth [-H] [d=<value>] [g=<value>] [-s] [-v] [-]

DESCRIPTION

Vgrowth is an interface to vgan. It provides a user interface for viewing the analysis of nodule groups. A different group can be viewed by clicking on the Group button. The nodule display shows the 3d model of each nodule in chronological order from left to right, and the axial, sagittal, and coronal views from top to bottom.

The text pane shows a nodule information table and a growth analysis table. The information table shows basic information including date, size (mm), volume (mm3), surface area (mm2) and original CT resolution. The analysis table shows the following:

Nodules

- The two nodules being compared (T1 and T2).

Date T1

- The date the T1 nodule was scanned.

Date T2

- The date the T2 nodule was scanned.

Interval

- The interval in days between the two dates.

Size T1

- The size (average of x and y extent) in mm of the T1 nodule.

Vol T1

- The volume in mm^3 of the T1 nodule.

% Change

- The percent change of the volume between T1 and T2. (Vol T2 / Vol T1 - 1)

DT

- The doubling time between T1 and T2.

MVGI

- The monthly volumetric growth index between T1 and T2 (compounded every 30 days).

Notes

- Additional notes; e.g. original scans were different resolutions.

COMPATABILITY

Vgrowth works for both old-style vpna directories (CU0090, CU0090.2, CU0090.3) and the new-style directory (one big directory). It automatically detects which directory structure to use. When vpna-style directories are used, vgrowth must be started in (or pointed to ) the first directory (CU0090).
