NAME

vgroup − a graphical interface to vngrp

SYNOPSIS

vgroup [-H] [d=<value>] [-s] [-v] [-]

DESCRIPTION

Vgroup is a GUI interface for vngrp that provides a method of grouping a set of nodules. The window is split into two parts: the buttons on top, and the grouping pane on the bottom. The View Mode button changes the how the nodules are viewed. Selecting "View by Date" or "View by Group" will change the order of the nodules in the grouping pane. The Apply Grouping button applies the current grouping and saves it to disk. The Auto Grouping button runs a grouping algorithm that groups all the ungrouped nodules. The Run VPNA and Run VGrowth buttons brings up a vpna or vgrowth window, respectively.

In the grouping pane, a preview of each nodule is displayed, along with the group number, date, and nodule number. In addition, a View button will pop up a window containing a montage of the nodule.

The group number can be any positive number. They do not have to be consecutive. Furthermore, a group of 0 indicates that the nodule is ungrouped. The grouping is stored in the grp.en file.
