VFITMAP

VisionX V4
NAME

vfitmap − maps points to polygon surface

SYNOPSIS

vfitmap if=infile ig=bbfile of=outfile [-c] [-v]

DESCRIPTIONS

Vfitmap takes a set of markings on a 3d rendered image and maps them to the polygonal surface. The markings should be made on a frame-separated 6-view image that is created with v3view (-n6 option). The program was developed for use with virtual fit surface mapping. The output file contains a VX list of 3-D vectors for the mapped points.

The console output, when -c flag is used, includes a set of comma-separated values: <x,y,z,xm,ym,zm>. <x,y,z> is the marked point on a 6 view rendering, <xm,ym,zm> is the mapped surface point on the rotated image.
