NAME

vdmap − maps the distribution of intensities on the way of ray directed from projection point towards the center of each polygon of the model

SYNOPSIS

vdmap [if=<object image file>] [sf=<model polygon file>] [of=<output polygon file>] [x=<x of projection point>] [y=<y of projection point>] [z=<z of projection point>] [si = <sampling interval (in voxels)>] [-t][-p]

DESCRIPTION

vdmap

Casts rays from the projection point towards the centers of each polygon of the model file. Samples the distribution of intensities of object image file on the way of each ray and attaches them as the floating point vector attribute to the corresponding polygon of output file. Sampling is done using either using nearest neighbor or trilinear interpolation.

OPTIONS

if=

object image file

sf=

model polygon file

of=

output polygon file

x=

x of projection point

y=

y of projection point

z=

y of projection point

si=

sampling interval in voxels

-t

use trilinear interpolation instead of nearest neighbor

-p

inhibit packing of result
