NAME

vdiaplot − plot the aorta profile.

SYNOPSIS

vdiaplot <s1,s2,s3,s4,s5>=<segments> <zs>=<zres> <pa>=<pa diameter> <ovd>=<outputd>

DESCRIPTION

vdiaplot vdiaplot takes the estimated diameters from the 5 segments from ascending aorta (s1 to s5) to plot the aorta diameter profile (ovd=). The output vector file ovd= has two columns. Its first column is the distance from heart top (mm) and its second column is the diameter measured at that location (mm). The diameter is smoothed with its 2 neighbors and starts from the ascending aorta to descending aorta. In ascending aorta region, the profile starts at the maximum diameter. vdiaplot also computes the average ascending aorta diameter and the average pulmonary artery diameter (mm). For pulmonary artery, it measures the average diameter of the 5 rings starting from the ring with the minimum diameter. The ascending aorta diameter is measured at the same level with the pulmonary artery. Similarly the average diameter of 5 rings is measured.

s1 to s5 are information regarding the 5 aortic segments (output from vadia). pa is the diameter measurement for pulmonary artery. Output file ovd is aorta diameter profile.
