This first distribution contains the VisionX V4 library to permit the
development of v4 programs. The makefile is currently configured for
LINUX and requires the 32-bit memory model for compilation.
Compilation should also be possible for MAC OSX systems and Windows
32-bit systems but this has not been recently tested.
Most functions excluding the vector file formats and packed file formats
will also work when compiled using the 64-bit mode. Again this has
not yet been fully validated.
