We investigated results adding noise to the image. We used both gaussian and salt and pepper noise. This image has 10% salt and pepper noise
The result of segmentation still has one continuous edge, with all the edge pixels within one pixel of the actual edge. In fact the edge was continuous until about 30% salt and pepper. It was within one pixel up to 15%.
		This procedure was run for different gaussian window sizes as well as different noise levels.
		Our implementation also segmented these images.
